Erick Brooks
Having a background as a Marketing Specialist for Federated
Insurance, covering the Keweenaw, Central and Eastern
Upper Peninsula , gave me the knowledge and experience
to be an award winning salesman. I brought that knowledge
and experience with me to the Elder Agency in 2002 and
have enjoyed helping my clients explore and meet their
insurance needs. I am certified in Property and Casualty,
as well as Life and Group Health Insurance. As a charter
member of the Marquette Area Jaycees I have the opportunity
to give something back to the Marquette County Community.

Beth Ruohonen-Eilola
I first began working in the Insurance business on a
part-time basis in 1985 with Peter White & Company.
I then decided to go full-time in 1986. I became licensed
in Property and Casualty Insurance in 1998 for both
Personal and Commercial lines.
When Peter White & Company merged with the Elder
Agency in May of 1996 I decided to make the move as
well, and got on-board that July.
I am a member of the Upper Peninsula Association of
Insurance Professionals and NAIN.

My insurance career began 49 years ago when I was an
auditor for the Michigan Inspection Bureau, which is
now called the Insurance Services Office. After leaving
there I worked for an independent agency and for the
past 12 years have worked in the personal lines department
for the Elder Agency. I look forward to putting my years
of experience to work for you.
I moved to Marquette from Menominee, Michigan in 1959
and have lived here ever since. I am a member of the
American Legion Auxiliary and St. Michael’s Altar Society.
